Anyone can say they are a dog trainer, but what have they accomplished? How long have they been training, how many dogs have they successfully trained and trialed in a variety of fields, have they personally had any measurable success? ​I am proud of my continued success at public competitions in multiple venues on numerous dogs and breeds and happy to be able to share my knowledge and expertise with my students!​

I take pride in using a balanced approach to dog training, focusing on motivational methods. I have a wonderful relationship with my dogs which shows in their performances. I started competing in the sports of Schutzhund, CKC obedience and tracking while in university and since then have titled many different dogs to over 100 performance titles with numerous High In Trials and am also a CGN judge for the Canadian Kennel Club.

After breeding, raising & training German Shepherds under the CKC kennel name of Immerstark Shepherds for many years I obtrained my first Australian Shepherd in early 2022. I am head over heels in love with the breed and cobred my first litter of Australian Shepherds in 2024 under my kennel name of Auzra alongside Valerie Yates of Ninebark Australian Shepherds (what an honour).
